Description

 Sherpas are the original inhabitants of the Himalayan region, the area of the Mt. Everest. They are the Mongolian origin and follower of Buddhisim with equal treatment given to both sex. Gurungs are the inhabitants of the central hill region. This is an agriculture based community which is known as ‘brave gurkhas’ to the worlds. Dance is a major item of their lives and express them through love songs in the gathering called ‘rodi’. Tamangs are the inhabitants of the hilly region of the Kathmandu valley. Best known for their sincerity and hard labour. Both men and women earn their living from working in sub-urban areas of kathmandu valley. Jyapus are the farming group of Kathmandu valley belonging to Newar community. They are also hard working people with a fun loving attitude.
